Blackheart Black Matte lipstick

This lipstick is your typical black lipstick. Its a staple to have in your beauty stock. This one is average, nothing to rave about but not bad. Though it says its matte its not. You will also need to go over your lips a few times. The good thing about this lipstick is its not drying to your lips. Putting it on makes me feel like a teenage, 90s mall goth. Which can be fun. Would buy for goth hatchlings.

Ummmmmm…..no. While I don’t hate this lipstick I wouldn’t go out of the way to buy it. It is super-pigmented, and does dry matte and will flake a little. Long wearing, yes as long as you don’t eat. One bite and that lipstick is goooooone. There will also be a weird lip outline that will make you look like a mess, which I don’t need a lipstick to remind me, I know ok. This lipstick will remind the restaurant of you because it will be all over the napkins and that white soup spoon. You also don’t need that lip color remover. 

I like the color. Its a blue grey tone, and a cool tone (note me fancy art terms). Its not a color most drugstore makeup brands have. I’m sure you can find dupes from indie brands though. Wait for this to go on sale if you want it.

This for me was a great buy. I was looking at the discounted make up at target and this was there for a dollar and change. I had one of those shine lights and music moments.  Its my favorite grey I have. I mean I only have two, but still. Unlike Stone fox this has no blue tone, its pale and reminds me of smoke. Need to be gone over twice but don’t let that bother you. Your lips do feel smooth and not dry which is a plus.
